Terms of Service

These terms cover Sprite Bot (the Discord bot) and Sprite Console (the website at app.spriteconsole.com). By adding the bot to a server, using its commands, or logging in to the website you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

Using the service

• You must follow the Discord Terms of Service and Community Guidelines, and be old enough to use Discord in your country (13 at the minimum).
• Don't use the bot or website to harass people, scam or impersonate others, spread malware, break the law, or get around a ban or blacklist.
• Don't try to break, overload, scrape or reverse-engineer the service, or access data that isn't yours. Report security problems to us instead of exploiting them.
• Server admins are responsible for how the bot is set up in their server, including telling their members what it does (logging, moderation, vouches, economy and so on).

Your content and data

• You keep ownership of what you post. You give us permission to store and display it as needed to run the features you use (for example vouches, listings, tickets and applications).
• How we handle data is explained in the Privacy Policy. You can export or delete your data from the dashboard (footer, "My data"), and server owners can do the same for their server.

Virtual items and games

Coins, gems, monsters, sprites, pets, eggs and other in-bot items have no real-world value, can't be bought or sold for money, and can be changed, rebalanced or reset at any time (for example to fix bugs or exploits). Any rewards that depend on a stats or event system may be adjusted. Cheating, duplication exploits and automation can result in removal of items or a ban from the features.

Giveaways and trading

Giveaways, trades, vouches and listings are run by server staff and members, not by us. We don't guarantee prizes, trades or the accuracy of a vouch, and we aren't responsible for deals between users. Be careful with any trade and use the reporting tools if something looks wrong.

Support and donations

The bot and website are provided free. Donations and Patreon support go towards running costs, are voluntary and non-refundable unless the law says otherwise, and don't create any ownership or guaranteed features.

Moderation and removal

We can limit, blacklist or block users, servers or content that break these terms or put others at risk, with or without notice. Server owners can remove the bot at any time.

Availability and changes

The service is provided "as is", without warranties. It may be down, change, or lose features at any time, and although we work to keep data safe we can't promise it will never be lost. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses from using the service.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change we'll update the date above. Using the bot or website after that means you accept the new version.
