Privacy Policy
Last updated: 17 October 2026
This policy covers Sprite Bot (the Discord bot) and Sprite Console (the website at app.spriteconsole.com). By adding the bot to a server, using its commands, or logging in to the website you agree to this policy.
What we collect
- Discord account info: your user ID, username, avatar and the servers you share with the bot. When you log in to the website we receive this from Discord (the
identifyandguildsscopes). We never see your password. - Server info: server IDs, channel and role IDs, member role lists and the settings server admins choose in the dashboard.
- Feature data: vouches (who vouched for whom, the reason text, message ID and time), sprite collection and mastery records, economy balances and cooldowns, monster game progress, marketplace listings, giveaway entries, reminders, warnings and notes added by moderators.
- Sprite Hunt game: your scores, best round and counts of sprites found, plus your display name and Discord avatar link for the leaderboard. Removed with My data.
- Pirate Crew game: your game progress (berries, bounty, crew, fruits, haki), your display name and Discord avatar link, and any crew you found or join. Crew names and the bounty board are public. Removed with My data.
- Custom profile: if you upload a profile picture or banner, write a bio, status or pronouns, or pick colours, we store them. The picture is shown publicly on the website and in the bot's leaderboards and cards. You can remove it any time from your profile, or with My data.
- Connected accounts: gaming and social account names you add to your profile (Xbox, PlayStation, Epic, Steam, Switch, Minecraft, Roblox, Twitch, YouTube, TikTok, X), either typed by you or confirmed by logging in with that platform. Shown to other logged-in members on your profile card and on your Marketplace listings. See Connected accounts below.
- Tickets and applications: ticket messages and transcripts, staff application answers, and support chat messages sent to the bot in a ticket.
- Message content: the bot reads messages to run prefix commands, detect vouches in configured vouch channels, translate messages in channels where staff turned translation on, apply link and word filters, run message games (counting, word chain), and write moderation logs. Except for the data listed above (vouches, ticket transcripts, moderation logs), message content is processed when it is sent and is not kept.
- Presence: your online status (online, idle, do not disturb) is read live to show staff and distributor availability. It is not stored or logged.
- Website data: a login session cookie, and basic server logs (IP address, time, page) kept for security and debugging.
How we use it
To run the features above, keep servers safe (anti-raid, anti-nuke, moderation), show standings and records on the website, fix bugs and prevent abuse. We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising.
Third-party services
Some message text (for example a vouch check, a translation, or a support chat question) is sent to third-party AI services to process it: Google Gemini, Cerebras, Groq and Cloudflare Workers AI. We use these services to return a result; we do not use your messages to train our own models, and we send only what is needed for the task. Those providers handle the data under their own terms and privacy policies. Discord, our hosting provider, and top.gg / Topbot.gg (server count only) also process limited data to operate the service.
Connected accounts
If you choose Log in with a platform (Twitch, Steam, Roblox, YouTube/Google, TikTok, X, Xbox or Epic) when adding a connection, we send you to that platform to approve the request. We receive only your public account name (for example your Twitch username, YouTube handle or channel name, or TikTok @username) and use it to show a verified tick next to it on your profile. We do not post for you, read your messages, videos or other content, or keep the platform's access token: it is used once, during the login, and then discarded. You can remove a connection at any time from your profile, and you can revoke access in that platform's own settings.
Google / YouTube: we ask for read-only access (youtube.readonly) solely to read the name or handle of the YouTube channel you choose to verify. Sprite Console's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. By using this feature you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service; Google's privacy practices are described in the Google Privacy Policy. You can revoke access at Google's permissions page.
Where it is stored and for how long
Data is stored on the bot's server. We keep it while the bot is in a server or your account is active, because things like vouches, collection records and balances need to persist. When a server removes the bot, or on request, we delete or anonymise that server's data. Backups are deleted on a rolling basis.
Your choices
- Export or delete your data yourself: log in to the dashboard and use My data in the footer. You can download everything we hold about your account as a file, or delete it. Server owners and admins can export or delete their server's data from the Manage Server page. You can still contact us (below) for anything it doesn't cover.
- Moderation logs, ticket records and donation records are kept for safety and accounting; ask us if you need a specific record removed.
- Set your Discord status to Invisible so your presence is not displayed.
- Individual members cannot switch off message features in a server; server admins decide which channels and features are enabled and can disable them or remove the bot.
- Revoke the website's access any time in Discord under Settings, Authorized Apps.
Children
Discord requires users to be at least 13 (or the minimum age in your country). The bot and website are not for anyone younger and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
Contact
For questions or data requests, contact the bot owner through the support server linked from app.spriteconsole.com, or by opening a ticket there.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update the date above. Continuing to use the bot or website means you accept the updated policy.
